I took this yesterday in studio. I don't wear glasses to read but they are my glasses on my very fav. photo magazine that I read and look forward to monthly.

Starting last weekend I'm busy with weddings every weekend until the begining of November with weddings on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. It's been fun posting all my play photos and I'm going to make sure I still have time for play pics now that full wedding season is back on for me. Play pics have been great to help improve my photo skills as I plan to never stop learning in the photo area. AND, thanks all the ILP girls for the motivation, ideas, photo challenges and compliments on my work. You girls are great and I know I wouldn't have so many play pics without your inspiration.

Nothing but Rain

So, I might as well make the best of it with trying to find some interesting pics.

I through a cross process on this image - I can't really notice in this pic but usually it's very effective.
Back to work....well, play. I'm playing with blends today. I'll be back with what I've done..while I enjoy my M&M's and Coke :)

Osterhout Henry Hall Bridal Show

Osterhout Henry Hall is hosting their first annual Spring Bridal Show April 22nd (the fashion show will be at 1 PM)...that's this Sunday! Wow, this month went fast.

Melissa and I will be there as Melissa just registered us this week after I played phone tag for about a month with the hall. Thanks Melissa!

We have had a few inquires as to weather or not we will be there so just letting everyone know we are in and hope to see some familier faces.

Just palying with angles, depth of field and CS2

I just got this great Bambi Cantell video that shows how to bring out more light on a subject to draw attention so I was practicing in the photo below. I left the light on the flower and burned the edges. I hope to get a great getting ready photo of tomorrows wedding and apply the same technique.

This morning I photographed some commercial space in Belleville for advertising purposes for the owner of the building. The photos are just standard, this room to that room images, but here is what I captured just outside the building.

We have had so much rain lately. Yesterday was our first 'blue sky day' in a long time

After school my son helped me take these photos between him trying to crack open a coconut, which he did succeed in, because in wanted to try coconut milk which he ended up not liking.

Here, I had him old the fruit in place to avoid it from floating around.

Still loving the macro. I have so much more macro to share and will soon :) I photoed these with natural light at F2.8 playing with where I set the focus and choosing a different point each time.

5 hour engagement session

Rachel & Kevin have the weddings plans all set for this June with a Toronto wedding. The couple met at The Keg while they were both going through post-secondary. Kevin is a Police Officer now and Rachel is in Advertising. So, what better place to start with our engagement session then the place where it all started?!! From there we went onto Casa Loma, and down town Toronto. The weather was cold but the couple looks great :)

Since I have had my hands on this macro lens I haven't left the house without it -- I'm sure the excitement will wear off eventually...but not just yet, as it's only been 3 days

This was my supper - an Easter Egg, but I had a salad with Sabina and her daughter so I was full. My poor veg diet :( But, I did make my son a steak.

Well, for my body pary photo I tried to photo the bandaid on my arm froom blood work but I couldn't manage :( So I snapped this one. I'll do btter next month :)

My son and I play a game of Clue - Who Shot Mr. Burns. He won the first round and then I the second only because I knew what room he was headed for so I beat hin there. Is that cheating???
