Cougars for Cancer

This Friday Christa and I will be at Cougars for Cancer at the Ramada in Belleville. We will have a pink photo booth set up and taking photos of any lovely ladies interested.

Tickets are sold out with all proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society

Events of the evening include: pole dancing, a sexy silent auction, fabulous fashion, pink highlights for hope...just to name a few.

We look forward to meeting everyone there, photographing the ladies, and expanding our family of friends at About Image Photography.

GOSSIP MONDAY

1. WORK:

- The studio is almost completely renovated. We just need a bit more paint in the back.

- Starting Oct 5th there will be a full time office manager in the studio helping out with the work load

2. PARENTING:

- Hockey season has started for my son. I love hockey season! He's a goalie :)

3. ME:

- I fell off a pull-up, hit my head off the kitchen floor, the pull-up bar then hit me in the forehead. I had a headache for days and dizziness with a minor concussion

Where are we at right now?

We have the shooting room pretty much finished. The paint and floor looks fantastic.

The back room and washroom has the floor and we still need to paint.

We are going to start moving a few things in tonight and organize a bit.

This family is one of my very first clients form when I opened my business in 2004. I photographed the couples engagement session, then the wedding, moms maternity, and now the children as they grow!

This is one of the very best pleasures of my job!

Renovations!

These are the ladies running About Image Photography!

I'm flexing my pipes...with the help of my other hand, while Christa shows some love.

YES! We are renovating the studio! It's about time, I know!

No more blue carpet! No more cream colored walls!

I actually never REALLY realized how ugly the studio was until I was looking at the photos we took of us moving things out! I knew it was bad...I just didn't realize how bad!

I have a team of friends and family already helping with the packing, picking out paint colors, moving in the floor and getting things ready to go.

We start full renovations on Monday Sept 21st and will reopen Tuesday Sept 29th. However, on the 28th I'll be shooting on location all day but feel free to come and check out the studio after that.

Thanksgiving Weekend Sessions

I've been booking sessions like crazy over the next three months. I just had two sessions from Sunday Oct 11th reschedule (thanksgiving weekend). I'm sure I'll book them within the next few days but since I have turned so many away for this date I thought I would share the information here for anyone still hoping to book that date.
