Ident-A-Child

Just this past Thursday my son and I drove to St. Andrews church in Picton to participate in the Ident-A-Child program with the 3rd Picton Brownies. The IDENT-A-CHILD program is a private nonprofit organization established to assist law enforcement in locating missing children (through a cooperative effort with local law enforcement and the media).

The IDENT-A-CHILD program provides a free identification service for children where parents and primary care providers are encouraged to have their children video taped and fingerprinted. The video tape is maintained by the local law enforcement agency for a period of three years. The parent of care provider retains the fingerprints.

My sister Janet took a few candids for the evening while I covered the portraits.

Here is an example of the photo that goes into the information package:

And of course girls being girls they had to have a few fun photos.

Thanks Gerri for the backdrop!

I love your community spirit, girl! This is wonderful, and I know that the girl guides are loving you for it! :) The backdrop looks great with those uniforms!
