Trash your wedding dress with me :)

Tomorrow I'll be trashing my first dress and next week I'll be trashing another.

This video is such a great idea for what to do with your wedding dress after the big day.

Anyone else up for it??? Come on! It will be fun :)

My son has been away all week with Grandparents as it's his first week off school and he is enjoying the time while he can. Soon we get into one hockey school/camp after another which will keep us busy for the summer. So, this photo is for him -- just encase he sees my blog.

Camera Down!

This is an example of the importance of having more then one camera body when photographing a wedding.

Not sure how but at my last wedding my 20D fell off a table and hit the floor while holding a $3000 lens, extended flash and of course my Fong Dong.

I was so hopeful that my Canon would not give out on my after hitting the floor but it's done for now. I'm having it looked at and kind of hoping it's fixable but you know, if not....... I think there is a 5D calling my name...."Jenna, buy me".

Anyway's, when I gear up for a wedding I have three camera bodies, five lenses, 4-5 Fong Dongs, 8 Canon batteries, plenty AA batteries, cards ranging from 1gig-4gigs, a GPS and plenty of camera toys between two bags. So when my 20D hit the floor it was no big deal as I knew I had two other cameras to rely on :)

Besides that.....I know I've been slacking on the blog. I have two weddings to share some baby pics and some engagements....and you know the usual little things. I'll get to it. First I have to put together an album :)

We took these pics a couple of weeks ago - the same day as another engagement session you may have seen here. I love when the guys I photo get involved with their own ideas -- he was great for that :)

8:28 (Tim Hortons Drive through) -- This was my 1st Ice Cap

12:00 (studio) I load the studio full of pretty smells

12:27 (home) I'm checking my emails/facebook.

12:55 (home) - here is my body part that must be included in the project. I don't know how I get so dirty. This was taken in my backyard in full sun. Let's say the full sum makes me look so white.

12:56 (home) - and while in my back yard I found this plant that I did not know exsisted. I know, a macro would have been better but it's not the lens I used today.

1:06 (my place) I made an appointment for a mamogram. I don't get in till September which sucks! Anyways, ladies, remember to self exam yourself

1:32 (Belleville Michaels) I love this store. I went here for a few studio props today and am very happy with what I got.

1:53 (Belleville) time to tan my white legs. Oh, and I did a spray tan a few weeks ago -- my hands turned orange. I photographed a wedding with orange hands, lol. My orange hands are gone now and I'm just trying to even out the spray tan. I'll never do it again because it fades and fades in bloches.

2:22 (my car) - what's with the name of tanning lotion?!! Sex seems to sell everywhere and I got this because it's a bronzer but I hide it when I'm carrying it around

8:20 (Trenton parking lot) So, this was my third Ice Cap today (bad day) and this girl I know likes this guy that works at Tim's so I got his phone number for her which is covered by my keys.

Pat made these napkin holders as favours for all the guests. Can you imagine the time put in to this?!! They are beautiful

Erin's flowers and shoes. Erin wore her shoes plenty of times before the wedding to work them in -- you should see that girl run in heels and a wedding dress. The practice paid off.
