Karissa and Philip Engaged

We ventured out to Center Island Toronto, where the couple was engaged. Karissa already had great ideas for locations and this lighthouse was one of them.

We also made sure to get some beach shots. We took these images before the couple got into the water. They were up for anything!

This is the plaque Philip made and nailed to the location of the engagement. It's nice to see it's still there.

Karissa and Philip were great to spend the day with. Karissa you are very sweet! She actually brought me a bottle of water when we met. And thanks to you both for the snacks after while waiting for the ferry!

Jennifer & James Engaged

We mixed up the engagement shot over the weekend shooting in the Danforth area with street scenes and whatever greenery we could find downtown Toronto.

James helped me take this photos. I asked for direction while I held the camera above my head and tried to get them in the frame :)

Casey & Matt May 17th

Here is a shot of Casey's bouquet Before the ceremony I went to get the last photo of Matt before things were started at the church. When I walked into the getting ready room Matt was sitting in the chair turning Casey's ring in his hand looking at it. I thought his was so sweet and I was wondering what he was thinking while turning the ring. I love this image.

After the ceremony we headed to a nearby park for the formals......but we were rained out so we headed to the studio

Samantha and Matt Engaged!

Samantha and Matt found me through a local bridal show and won the give away prize of a engagement session. We met last Sunday, the day after I photographed her friends wedding (pics coming soon) -- here are a few images from there session.

I know, I've ben a blog slacker!

It's been so busy and it's great to be caught up on my work but I have been slacking on the blog.

I've been busy in full swing now with wedding season, and the studio has been keeping things busy as well. It's another "I have a ton to share, but lack the time to get it up" excuse. But, the good news is I'm all to date with sessions. I have even delivered today's sessions. It's strange but the busier I get the more caught up I am :)

Anyway, I know I'm slacking here but I do think about it...that's counts, right?!! joking! I'll try harder :)

I've been with Picture Simple Software for over a year now. Recently, I volunteered to be a beta tester with the new galleries. This means online galleries for all my weddings!

Nicki and I spent our weekend photographing a CD cover for a country singer. I'll have more details on the release date of the CD later but it will be available in June and you'll have to pick one up as her voice is amazing and the photos are fantastic! :) It was about a 10.5 hour shoot spread over two days. After our fun with photographing a beautiful country singer all day we decided to take a few photos of ourselves. Notice our rubber boots -- we walked in a lot of manure over the weekend.

It was a blast!

Ms. A turns 1year

Ms. A has been to the studio four times now: maternity session, newborn, 6 months and now for her 1 year photos. All the best ages to photo in the first year! She is always full of smiles and very easy to photograph. You might remember her 6 months ago from her cabbage pictures.

You know, some children just prefer not to have things on their head -- which for me always makes an adorable image

Once I showed her when you squeeze the duck it makes a noise she kept trying to do the same and once she got it this was the great expression she showed :) So cute!
