Busy Times!

Just an update...I've been slow to blogging but busy shooting so I do have lots to share...when I get around to it.

Moving is taking a lot of my time lately as I am moving the studio and my house. The move takes place on Sunday. Friday and Saturday I am photographing weddings so this weekend is packed full and I'm sure if you try to get a hold of me it just isn't going to happen, but I'll return all phone calls and email on Tuesday. Monday is a holiday and I'm going to take it to unpack and get the studio organized.

The studio is moving to 320 Main Street Picton. I took this pic on my cell phone and had the sign imported as it's not up yet but will be early next month. I'm guessing it will take me about two weeks to organize the studio enough to open the doors so my plan is to be running the store front full time starting Sept 15th. However, with the amount of location shooting I do during the day I won't be there all the time.

I do want to thank everyone for their patience as my turn around time has slowed down by about two weeks this month. All engagement sessions are complete while I still work on this months weddings and studio sessions. Tuesday will be a full day of getting sessions out and I'll be in touch with everyone soon.

Also a big thanks to my friends and family helping me in the move! They know who they are :)

Married August 23rd the couple is currently on their Honeymoon!

The wedding was beautiful. It didn't rain...for once! The wedding party was great to work with and the parents were fantastic -- thanks everyone!

Marie-Eve and Tim Engaged

The wedding is being planned for next year! The couple and I got together last weekend to have some fun with engagement photos. They climbed trees, jumped on bridges, walked in water, sat on pointy hard objects, hiked up a big rock, laid in the grass, jumped from a ship and here are just a few images form our session :)

Sarah-Jane & Kevin

We actually took these photos yesterday with only days till the wedding as the wedding is this Saturday. Sarah-Jane and I sent to high school together and I photographed her last year in a bridal party of an August wedding. The couple has been together for 9 years and met in University. It's a interesting story. Kevin almost hit Sarah-Jane with his truck and while she was venting to friends later that day he walked into the room, didn't apologize but asked he to go mini-putting. She was still mad and said no but thought he was attractive and eventually it all worked out.

Krystin & Andrew Engaged

The couple and I met downtown Belleville for an engagement session as they are planning to marry! We had a lot of fun as they were up for any idea I threw at them and they both know how to rock the camera. I have a ton of favorites from the sessison but here are just five to share. I posted 10 or so to Facebook tagging them in everyone one -- awwwwwww, love facebook!

It's August!

...and August is the busiest month of the year with eight weddings I think every Sunday is now booked with portrait sessions.

Notice a lack of blog updates??? I haven't got last weeks wedding up yet. I bought a new camera and then needed new software to view the files which out me about two weeks behind in the studio but everyone has been awesome and I love you all for that!

We had two weddings this weekend and they were both incredible! I'll get to sharing all the weddings this week -- which will be three now :)

Lori and Jason Married!

Caitlin and I started in our usual fashion where she started with the men getting ready photos while I was with the ladies. I just pulled one detail shot each to share. I photographed Lori's bridal necklace on the arm of a chair at their getting ready location and I love the shot below Caitlin grabbed of the wedding programs/fan at the ceremony location.

Th ceremony took place at a local winery, Carmela Estates

When I gave the rings back to Lori I did mention they may be a bit sticky...this was the shot.
There were limes in the center pieces so I asked a staff member at Carmela if they would cut it in half for me so I took a few shots but this is the one I likes best.

The couple have been together for 10 years, engaged for 5, they have two children and were just married Saturday July 19th -- Congratulations!

While I was photographing the speeches, Caitlin captured some totally adorable images of the kids playing under the tables. They were posing it up for her. How cute?!!

I have the slide show ready to share but I'm having a problem loading the song. So, since I know the couple checks in here (they thought I was engaged and congratulated me, lol) can you two try emailing the song to me if possible and I'll have your show up and running as soon as possible. Unless I figure it out before then I'll just attach it to this post -- ugh, technical difficulties!

A bit of blog vomit...

...blog vomit is when one posts a few sessions in the same day. I've just shared 5 sessions as I am a bit behind in the sharing. This is just some stuff in the last three weeks. If your session is not posted yet I plan on posting it tomorrow :)

Day After -- teaser pics

I said I wouldn't get these up tonight but I was a bit to excited to not just pull a couple to share. Michelle, Jeff and I got together tonight for their 'day after' session. I met the couple at their house and we shot for 1.5hrs. It was a blast. I love the photos and will have a slide show together...as soon as I get my commercial work done, which is what I am suppose to be doing tonight :o ...back to work

The couple and I got together about three weeks ago now for their E-session. We met at Jason's parents house where the wedding will take place this weekend! The house sits on waterfront with beautifully landscaped gardens. The ceremony will take place in the back yard looking onto the water.

Yes, we are back to photos of my niece again :)

Since 7 months is my very favorite age to photograph and I have the new bath tub prop I had my sister bring her in again so we can photo on the yellow. We only had about 30min to get some pics in since she was then off to her Dr. appointment just down the hall.

We are already planning her 1 year photos and have another session planned for next month that's a bit 'different'

Ashley & Anthony Married

I love Ashley! She is a fantastic bride (like all About Image brides are this year) She is very detailed with wedding planning, and was in the studio a few weeks before her wedding filling me in on the dress details...because I asked. I always love to hear about the dress. The wedding party was a blast to photograph and the family was fantastic!

As usual, Caitlin started with the men for pre-wedding photos while I was off with the ladies.

I love the way Anthony is looking at Ashley in the above photo.

...and I love this one below that Caitlin captured as the couple was walking to the limo from the ceremony.

I put together a slide show of wedding images with about 100 or so photos of the day between us two photographers. A few days after the wedding I called Anthony's mom and dad asking for the couples wedding song to use in the slide show.
