I had a great time with Michelle and Jeff for their engagement photos. They are a lot of fun.

They were to be married this past Saturday but their wedding location became unavailable with little time before the set date...and after their wedding invitations were out. Michelle was already booked with another photographer but after having to move her date she called me to see what Saturdays I had available this year. At the time I had July 5th and an October date so she booked July 5th with me :)

As we were shooting Caitlyn (second shooter with me) rode by on her bike so I was able to introduce them as Caitlyn will be there the day of the wedding as well. She is a fantastic photographer.

I usually don't post more than 5 photos per session but the couple was up for anything and I love the results

Just over a year now!

Ms. S came into the studio about 6 months ago when she was first sitting up. Now she is walking and running around very well :)

Renata & Jordan

Engaged to be married this August!

The couple and I got together yesterday afternoon for a few engagement photos. This was the first time we had met and they are fantastic! I look forward to their upcoming wedding.

Yes, I'm still here

...and very busy I have been photographing like crazy and working non stop (or so it feels) to keep on top of things. I was planing on going to bed at midnight but it's now past 1am and I'm still pushing RAWs through.

I do have lots of photos/stories to share...once I get around to it.

Here's what's new/what I have been up to:

1. I have some great help/second shooters this year! They are amazing and I hope to chat more about them soon.
2. My son is now on summer holidays! Yipee!
3. I'm moving at the end of July (still local)
4. I have pink and purple hair...it clips in and out, lol. No worries there for my more formal brides ;)
5. I haven't taken photos that are not work related it what feels like a very long time
6. I have been paying off debt like a mad women :)
8. I'm almost all moved into the 'new' studio...should be by July 8th :)
9. I have the most amazing brides and grooms this year!
10. I hope to get back to sharing what I've been up to regularly

I have a wedding tomorrow and another on Sunday - busy weekend!

Lyne & Shane Married June 7th

I just loved this window and had to use it.

Lyne and Shane were married in Lyne's Aunts house. It was a small ceremony of about 14 guests. After the ceremony assistant Caitlyn and I headed to the hall for some photos of the wedding party. It was the hottest day of the year yet at a high of +30. We were all thankful for such beautiful weather after all the rain we have had.

Amey and Tim

Amey and Tim were married just West of Kingston in Amerstview. The wedding took place at a beautiful golf course. Although it rained through most of our photos you certainly can't tell through the formals.

Assistant Nicki and I had a great time with this wedding. The family and bridal party are fantastic. Amey made for a beautiful bride and Tim was a handsome groom. The couple returns from their honeymoon tomorrow.

All sisters and all expecting -- how exciting!

It was nothing but good times and laughs with these ladies in the studio. They were such a blast.

Ashley & Anthony

Engaged to be married this July, the couple and I got together for an early Sunday morning engagement session...and a good thing we did as the rest of the day we had a lot of rain.

Ms. F is now over a year!

She is just learning to walk!

Love this one -- she is so adorable!

Ms. F came into the studio at 3 months, for Christmas photos, than again at 6 months and now at just over a year. It's so amazing watching her go from laying on towels and fitting into tea cups to now walking off the studio set :)

I was looking forward to seeing her again as she is such a doll.

Karissa and Philip Engaged

We ventured out to Center Island Toronto, where the couple was engaged. Karissa already had great ideas for locations and this lighthouse was one of them.

We also made sure to get some beach shots. We took these images before the couple got into the water. They were up for anything!

This is the plaque Philip made and nailed to the location of the engagement. It's nice to see it's still there.

Karissa and Philip were great to spend the day with. Karissa you are very sweet! She actually brought me a bottle of water when we met. And thanks to you both for the snacks after while waiting for the ferry!

Jennifer & James Engaged

We mixed up the engagement shot over the weekend shooting in the Danforth area with street scenes and whatever greenery we could find downtown Toronto.

I love this one below -- looks like we are about to get in trouble from the guy pointing

James helped me take this photos. I asked for direction while I held the camera above my head and tried to get them in the frame :)

Casey & Matt May 17th

The wedding took place May 17th in Belleville. I added a slide show link to the bottom of the post to share more photos as I only selected 5 to share here, so be sure to check out the slide show.

Here is a shot of Casey's bouquet Before the ceremony I went to get the last photo of Matt before things were started at the church. When I walked into the getting ready room Matt was sitting in the chair turning Casey's ring in his hand looking at it. I thought his was so sweet and I was wondering what he was thinking while turning the ring. I love this image.

After the ceremony we headed to a nearby park for the formals......but we were rained out so we headed to the studio
